Itinerary

This tour incorporates three of Zambia’s top tourist destinations – South Luangwa National Park, Lower Zambezi and Livingstone, but families will have the use of private houses and also an opportunity to self-drive into Lower Zambezi.

Day 1:Fly from Lusaka to Mfuwe airport where guests will be met and transferred to Mfuwe lodge

Day 1-4:Stay 3 nights at Mfuwe lodge in the Directors house this has 2 ensuite rooms, and a private swimming pool and barbeque area, private vehicle and guide for safari activities.

Day 4: Fly from Mfuwe to Lusaka airport, collect your vehicle (a 5 seater Ford Ranger Double Cab, map and route suggestions provided) and drive to Lower Zambezi

Day 4 – 7: Stay 3 nights at Chongwe House, this offers privacy on the banks of the Zambezi River; has its own swimming pool and personal kitchen team as well as a private vehicle and guide. There is also the opportunity to go Tiger fishing or canoeing whilst here.

Day 7: Drive back to Lusaka, return your vehicle and fly to Livingstone airport where you will be met and transferred to the Tangala House

Day 7 – 10: Stay 3 nights at Tangala Private House comes with its own game drive vehicle and boat, a chef and waiters, and private guide, also located on the banks of the Zambezi River.

Day 10:Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Lusaka

(Flights are booked in economy class and fare rules will apply. Full driving licence is required for the driver. Regarding the hire car this has been costed on a standard waiver package, super cover is available on request, includes 100km per day)
